What should I be looking for in a design?
Elements to take into consideration when planning a new landscape design are things such as: the slope of the land, drainage requirements, soil type, north facing sun, views, neighbours etc. You need to think about what are the main purposes of the garden and its use. Will you be having pets and children or entertaining often? Coastscape Services will be able to look at all your needs and requirements and help design an amazing landscaped area to suit every condition.
How many quotes should I get?
Typically people get a couple of quotes, it also depends on how you feel with the company quoting. It is important when obtaining quotes to give the same details and brief is given to each company. Its quite often that people do not compare apples for apples. Things of importance to look at are: the size of the plants, quality of materials, soil and site preparation. Aside from just the price, sometimes you really do get what you pay for so keep in mind if a quote may be just a little stretch on the budget and you feel comfortable and confident in that company…it may well be worth the investment.
